MijoShop 1.5 released, Theme Editor

Today we are proud to announce a new version of the leading Joomla Shopping Cart component, MijoShop. This major release includes several new features such as Theme Editor, integration plugins for AcyMailing, JCE, JomSocial, Kunena and a lot more.

     

Theme Editor

For the last 2 months we’ve been working quietly behind on a new structure to customize/override the output and today we're releasing our work under a new Theme Editor page. Theme Editor offers you the possibility to create/clone new themes, edit files, backup and restore files directly from the back-end of your site. All you need to know is HTML & CSS in order to customize/override the output, no special taging system or anything else. It does also use the CodeMirror editor to highlight the code.

Options moved into Settings

MijoShop users will like this. As you may know, there was 2 different places to configure separate things in MijoShop. One under the MijoShop => Settings page and the other from the MijoShop => Options (right top). This was really confusing and our members where not able to find the right top options in most of cases. So we moved the MijoShop => Options configurations under the MijoShop => Settings page as a separate tab, see the above screenshots.

Integrations

One of the powerful features that makes MijoShop the leading shopping cart for Joomla is the numbers of integrations inside and outside Joomla. Having a shopping cart alone does not mean anything in most of cases, you require more tools to increase your sales for your ecommerce site. As you can see from this page, currently MijoShop integrates with 15+ Joomla components and more integrations such as K2, DOCman, Zoo etc are coming soon.

OneSaas

One of the best integration for MijoShop is of course the one with OneSaas services. As you may know, OneSaas helps you to integrate and synchronize your data between several systems such as QuickBooks, SalesForce, Xero, Sugar CRM and a lot more. The integration with MijoShop means that you can synch your customers, products and sales with these systems automatically. AcyMailing, JCE, JomSocial and CB

This release brings new plugins for Joomla components such as AcyMailing, JomSocial and Community Builder. AcyMailing was the most integration and finally you have it now. The plugin is a tag and filter plugin that offers you to insert MijoShop products in your newsletter and filter your users based on MijoShop products/orders. The JCE plugin allows you to link MijoShop products and/or categories without having to copy-paste anything directly from your editor. Finally, as you can see from the screenshots above, the JomSocial and Community Builder plugins allows you to show orders into the user profile page. All MijoShop members can download these plugins from our download section for free.

Integration Tab: Kunena and SQL query

We're continuing with new plugins for the integration tab feature announced in MijoShop 1.4. This version includes 2 new integrations, Kunena ranks and custom SQL query that runs after an order is places and/or the order history has been changed. There are also other improvements such as vQmod 2.3 implementation, better compatibility with OpenCart extensions etc.

How to upgrade to MijoShop 1.5

Very simple, check this article. Even we use a dedicated server, the automatic upgrade may fail sometimes due to the high load. You can use the manual upgrade in such a case. As always, don't forget to take a back-up before upgrading. Also, MijoShop 1.5 is available only to Joomla 2.5 & 3.x users as we had dropped the development for Joomla 1.5
