Mijosoft sponsors Joomla! Day Melbourne
Hi again,

This time I'm here not to announce a new release but another great news from Mijosoft Team. We're proud to support the Joomla! Day Melbourne 2013 at Gold Sponsorship level. Joomla!Day Melbourne has continued to grow each time it's been held since the first conference in 2008.

I had in my mind since with the old company to support the Joomla! Days and thanks God I'm able to realize it with Mijosoft. We will contribute every possible way we can to the worldwide Joomla community and sponsoring Joomla Days is one of them.

As you may know, Melbourne is the place where Mambo born so it has a separate importance in the Joomla world. For 2013 Joomla! Day Melbourne is expecting over 200 attendees who are a mixture of:
  • Joomla beginners finding out the capabilities of one of the world's leading content management systems.
  • Joomla devotees who are regularly implementing new websites using Joomla!
  • Joomla implementers who are deciding which components to use on multiple websites that they manage
  • Joomla developers who are creating new extensions, templates and tools for the Joomla community
  • Joomla experts who are working on various parts of the Joomla project
  • Joomla newsmakers who are blogging and reporting about Joomla trends all the time.
This exciting event will be held between 19th to the 20th January 2013, with workshops on 17-18 and 20th at Swinburne University of Technology - Hawthorn campus utilising the state of the art lecture theatres and laboratories. It is a Joomla! open source sanctioned event. Here you can find the conference programe and here the workshops one.

We as Mijosoft will introduce our Joomla eCommerce & Shopping Cart component, MijoShop, on the 20th of January 2013. It's not clear yet but I will do my best to attend this great event with Yusuf. In case we won't be able to, then Max Lynam will do it for us and I would like to thank him for this kindness.

That's all for now, hope to see you there ;)
