MijoSearch 2.1 is out, Caching System

Here we are with a new version of the best Joomla Site Search component, MijoSearch. This is a major release and includes one of the most wanted features, caching system and lot others.

Caching System

In this release, we've integrated MijoSearch with the caching system of Joomla in order to reduce server the load. The search results will be stored into files once loaded from the database. As it's integrated with the core Joomla cache, you can use any handler for results and choose where the search cache will be stored. All you have to do is to enable caching from MijoSearch configuration page.

EasySocial and Contacts extensions

We've also released two new extensions. One for the popular EasySocial component and the other for the core Contacts component. The EasySocial extension is full of options which offers to search between groups, categories, discussions, events, news, albums and photos.

Ajax search improved

This release does also include improvements for the Ajax search feature. A spinning wheel is added while the search is going on and the results window gets closed after clicking outside.

Very simple, check this article plz. Even we use a dedicated server, the automatic upgrade may fail sometimes due to the high load. You can use the manual upgrade in such a case. As always, don't forget to take a back-up before upgrading.
