MijoShop 2.5 released, new Wizard and Payments

The wait is finally over. The 2.5 version of the leading Joomla Shopping Cart component, MijoShop, is out. In this release we've added an Installation Wizard, 7 new Payment Gateways and 3 new Integrations.

     

Wizard

In this release, we've been focused on how to ease the installation and the first go into MijoShop. The new installation Wizard allows to set up the requirements of the shop from one-page screen. You can set up the store name, logo, email, address, currency and even create a menu item within one click. The system does also scan your already installed eCommerce components and ask if you want to go to the respective migration page.

Payment Gateways

Payment gateways are the crucial points of any store as those are where the store grabs the income. Therefore we continuously add new gateways into the MijoShop package. Today we come with 7 new gateways including 3 for the most popular Joomla components; JomSocial Points, EasySocial Points and AlphaUserPoints. You can let your customers pay with their points collected through those components.

Add Points

You can now add points to your customers when they purchase any product. Thank to the Integration Tab feature of MijoShop, you can set how many points customers can gain after the purchase.

We've also improved the performance by adding new indexes to the database tables and updated the AcyMailing and JCE plugins and fixed a couple of bugs..

How to upgrade to MijoShop 2.5

Very simple, check this article plz. Even we use a dedicated server, the automatic upgrade may fail sometimes due to the high load. You can use the manual upgrade in such a case. As always, don't forget to take a back-up before upgrading.
